Conferences & Seminars
Reformation Conferences (REFCON)
We have several annual conferences. Our flagship Gospel event is the Reformation Conference. This is held in three major cities in our country: Mumias in April, Mombasa in August, and Kisumu in December. At these conferences, hundreds from Pentecostal, Charismatic, and wealth and health backgrounds come to hear an exposition of God’s word in a truly and faithfully Biblical way (REFCON VIDEOS link).
We praise God for the great testimonies we have been blessed to hear over the years from many people about these events. People’s eyes opened for the first time to the error of vain religion, false assurance, and misplacement in God’s service. Alumni Conventions (Pastors and workers retreat)
This is the next event we hold each year. At these meetings, we invite all our WTC students (past and present) to gather for stock-taking, sharing challenges, tracking progress, and generally fellowshipping and encouraging one another.
Alumni conventions are held annually at two locations: Mombasa and Mumias, Kenya. Our time together at Alumni conventions is marked by sharing meals and feasting on God’s word together. This is a two-day event that involves sharing food, preaching, and teaching.
African Pastor’s Conferences (APC)
This is an annual event we host and support every month of July. It is a ministry of an organization called African Pastor’s Conferences (APC) headquartered in South Africa. We are blessed to partner with APC for two basic reasons.
Firstly, they have access to, and do indeed bring to our people in the interior region, quality speakers from around the world. We ourselves would not be able to access and bring over such speakers. For this blessing, we are truly grateful to the APC.
Secondly, the APC negotiates with publishers and printers in order to obtain quality, highly subsidized books that are doctrinally sound. Again these are resources we would otherwise be unable to access for our people, especially at such affordable prices. For this also we are very grateful to the APC.
